7th & 8th Grade Holiday Concert
When: Thursday, December 16th
Location: High School Cafetorium
Performance Time: 7:30pm
Student Meeting Time: 7:00pm in the High School Band Room
*Band families are asked to contribute one baked item to the bake sale fundraiser that will be held before and after the concert
Concert Uniform
Girls: White dress shirt, black skirt (length below the knee) or black dress pants, black nylons (with skirt) or black socks (with pants), black dress shoes
Boys: White long sleeve dress shirt, black dress pants, black socks, black dress shoes

Practice Makes Perfect!
(or gets us as close as possible...)
- Practice sheets are due on Fridays ( through Google Classroom) and will account for 10% of a student's grade.
- 7th Grade Band students are required to practice a minimum of 120 minutes per week
- Practice is most effective when it is spread throughout the week - i.e. 30 minute practice sessions 4 days a week
- Students are most successful when they have the right tools for practice including:
- A place set aside for practice
- Music stand
- A chair that will help them sit with good posture
- Parental support and encouragement...and a listening ear! :)
